Pedro the skeleton is a day of the dead themed character. He is my take on creating a well optimised, fully rigged game ready asset. This means that he is well optimised (around 24k polygons), and only uses three main textures, for the main body, clothing, and for the hat.

I decided to do the final ‘renders’ in unity. This is because I wanted to showcase my game ready asset, working in a game engine, instead of just doing some renders in blender like I usually do. It also allowed me to import some fun open source custom shaders (Poiyami toon) and really capture the stylistic look I was going for when modelling this character.
